Soft Daddy is a queer, transmasculine kinkster and rope bondage artist.
Soft Daddy, also known as Liv (they/he), is a 30-year-old artist based in Inwood, at the northern tip of New York City. They have been involved in kink since 2019 and an active member of the NYC community since 2021, cultivating a dedicated and evolving rope practice. A true switch, Liv approaches topping through the lens of their experiences as a bottom, continuously learning and expanding through both sides of the exchange.
Their rope style is sadistic yet playful, physically demanding yet collaborative, and rooted in the belief that all bodies belong in rope—regardless of size, gender, or experience level. They prioritize creating intentional containers where partners feel empowered to communicate boundaries, build trust, and explore what their bodies and minds are capable of within those limits.
Their consent practice is rooted in CCCC, with RACK and PRICK frameworks guiding their communication, negotiation, and play. Liv is a committed political leftist and abolitionist who embraces non-carceral approaches to accountability and responsibility. They are firmly antiracist, anticapitalist, and antifascist, and are dedicated to challenging the cisheteronormative white supremacist patriarchy through both their art and their lived practice.
Soft Daddy has performed internationally at events including Hit Me Up, Société Anonyme, the Bondage Stage at Folsom Street Fair, Bozongas NYC, the Folsom Gala at Twisted Windows SF, and Shibari Soirée at Tension MTL.
Alongside their rope practice, Soft Daddy works full-time in the music industry, specializing in international music festival marketing and production. While rope is their artistic practice outside of their day job, they dedicate significant time and energy to traveling throughout the U.S. and internationally to perform, teach, and continue their education.
